The Multiphysics Lab at ASU’s School for Engineering of Matter, Transport, and Energy (SEMTE), led by Prof. Solanki, who also serves as the Program Director for the Mechanics of Materials and Structures (MoMS) program at NSF/CMMI. We specialize in designing new materials and enhancing existing ones for extreme applications. Our research spans from fundamental physics to developing advanced multifunctional materials tailored for challenging conditions like radiation, high rates, fatigue, and creep.
